Welcome to Foremost Equipment. Never using an automated phone menu, this new and used medical equipment company boasts top customer service and always someone to answer and serve you. We are a leading supplier of high quality, competitively priced, pre-owned Medical equipment. With a 5,600 square foot warehouse, Foremost has one of the largest inventories in the industry! "If we don't have it, no one does."
The three partners behind Foremost Medical Equipment, Inc. are young considering they represent over 85 years of experience. Mark Ragus, President and General Manager, has been in the new and used medical equipment business since 1996, starting with the company's original owners back in Florida.
Ragus, trained as an electrical engineer, took over as president in 2002 and moved the company to its current location in Rochester, NY, joined by business partners/owners Steve Buchman, Sales Manager, and Pam Gall, Purchasing Manager.
"We are a medium-sized company with about 17 employees, including three biomedical engineers and a retired Emergency Medical Physician on staff," Ragus notes. Foremost sells both new and refurbished electronic medical equipment and consumables while providing full service and repair of all electronic medical equipment.
"What sets us apart is we answer the phone," Ragus says. "During business hours, we do not utilize voicemail as we wish to serve our customers when they call. We offer a five-day right-of-return on refurbished equipment, an all-product warranty, and are extremely customer oriented."
In fact, Foremost boasts that the vast majority of their customers (75%) are repeat clients. "Very few of our customers are unhappy," Ragus says.
Hospitals, EMT and Fire and Police Departments, Medical Centers, Specialty Physicians, Dealers, Universities, Manufacturers and Vets are Foremosts' major customers, in that order; and the company services both end-users and dealers worldwide. Foremost's customers also include: places of worship, golf courses, concert venues, and schools looking for affordable and easy-to-use automatic defibrillators, tattoo shops seeking effective sterilizers, and television and movie producers who need equipment that looks sharp in a close-up.
Most companies on the Internet have practically annonymous reviews of their service. Really, "Who is this R.W. from NV and why should I trust them?" At Foremost, we have real-world, verifiable statements culled from public records.

Get More For Your Trade-In:
From the Lackawanna, NY City Council Meeting Minutes (1/5/2009)
The Fire Chief has received two offers to purchase our used defibrillators. Both are companies that refurbish used medical equipment and resell it. The first quote was for $800.00 through XXXX XXXXX Medical Equipment. The second quote was for $4,000.00 through Foremost Equipment. The Fire Chief has been unable to get any more quotes and feels that the former quote is the highest we would receive. I ask your permission to sell our two used defibrillators to Foremost Equipment for $4,000.00 and request that the proceeds be returned to the fire department. (Carried 5 - 0)
